Haley Johnson grew up in a home built on service and sacrifice. Both her parents served as United States Marines, and went on to spend over 25 years each serving Nevada as public servants. From them, Haley learned that service isn’t about titles or power — it’s about showing up for people, every single day.
With lived experience across the state — from Tonopah to Elko, Spring Creek to Carson City, Dayton to Reno, and now North Las Vegas — and abroad. Each place has given her a different lens into the resiliency and hardworking nature of deeply connected communities. Those experiences shaped her understanding of what it means to serve.
A Path Built on Service & Systems
Her path has never been linear — but it has always been rooted in service.
She’s worked inside the Nevada Legislature across multiple sessions, supporting legislative operations and gaining firsthand experience in how policy impacts real people.
She taught in underserved communities abroad, driven freight across the United States as a long-haul truck driver, and supported executive teams in government affairs and large-scale infrastructure environments.
Haley has also led programs, operations, strategy, and produced national gatherings for civic organizations — overseeing budgets, managing teams, and producing high-impact gatherings that bring together partners, leaders, and communities to move work forward.
Each chapter gave her something different:

Together, they shaped how she leads today.
